CDC releases resources to assist states as they open

Recently, the CDC issued resources for state decisionmakers to guide phased re-opening that includes considerations for summer camps, academic institutions, bars and restaurants and others. These considerations cover behaviors to reduce the spread of the virus, maintaining healthy environments and operations, and preparing for somebody who gets sick.

We all want to return to our normal activities and it is important to continue to social distance, wash your hands and wear masks when in public as the CDC recommends.  

As Dr. William Jaquis, ACEP president says in a recent op-ed, rushing back to business as usual without proper safeguards in place, or before certain health benchmarks are reached in your community, risks undoing the progress we have made together over the last several months.
